Our Commitment & Conformance Status
Target Standards: WCAG 2.2 Level AA • EN 301 549 • EAA / BFSGWabiy is deeply committed to digital accessibility and universal inclusion. We do our utmost to adhere strictly to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 Level AA), European Standard EN 301 549, and the European Accessibility Act (BFSG / EAA). Because accessibility is an ongoing journey, we continuously audit, test, and improve our platform and web presence.
How We Evaluate & Continuously Improve Accessibility
Automated testing alone cannot guarantee full accessibility. Wabiy combines automated rules with manual screen reader and keyboard verification.
Continuous evaluation of contrast ratios, image alt attributes, target sizes, and ARIA tree hierarchies.
Automated test suites integrated into pull requests testing against 86 WCAG 2.2 success criteria.
Hands-on keyboard navigation, screen reader verification (NVDA, VoiceOver), and high-zoom accessibility testing.
Weekly recurring audits and rapid triage of user-reported issues via our feedback protocol.
Known Limitations & Remediation Roadmap
Despite thorough engineering, temporary limitations may occur. We track and remediate them transparently:
Some older PDF files published prior to 2025 are currently being remediated for PDF/UA standard tagging. All new reports are generated fully accessible.
Select external partner recordings are receiving synchronized closed captions.
Enforcement & Arbitration Protocol
Formal arbitration procedure under the BGGIf you do not receive a satisfactory response regarding an accessibility barrier within 6 weeks, you may contact the federal arbitration service under the German Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities Act (BGG):
The arbitration procedure is free of charge and does not require legal representation. Its purpose is to facilitate an amicable resolution between users and website operators.
